Matariki

‘Matariki’ is the celebration of Maori New Year. Although this has been recently introduced into the New Zealand public holidays. 

I paint Contemporary Pacific motifs, designs and patterns hand painted by brush. Acrylic paint on hardboard 1200mm x 300mm x 4mm (4’ x 1’ x 1/4”) framed to look like it floats of the wall. Has had 2 generous coats of semi gloss artist varnish to protect it from dust.
